My day iN New Delhi..
**This is Shalini and the photographer is Beverlyn!! There are two of my besties..Was so lucky to fly wif them! Three of us realy having fun 2gether during tis 3 days trip..We bunk-in 2gether,eat and shop 2gether,talk crap!!Unfortunately the three of us din wrk 2gethr! We spend most of our time tlking and shopping! End up,we were like zombies upon landing to spore! TireeeeeddDD!!!
**Haha,,this is consider a proper cab!! Wif a/c? More expensive!! Its operate by compressed gas and you can hired the cab driver for the whole day if u want to..This uncle wil be waiting for you at anytime convenient to you!! we hired this uncle from 10am-5pm
**We were suppose to take his tuk-tuk to town ,bt after brain-washed by Sha& Bev we decided to tk the normal cab! According to them,these driver cant realy speak in eng,so its difficult 2 communicate to them where u wana go! U might gt cheated & lost if u cant udstd their language!!
**This is a pix where this man is sum kind of herb wrapping in a leaf..Saw those bottles in a basket and a slice of leaf above of it! He's wil took out a few seeds frm d bottleand pack it nicely in 2 a triangular shape leaf..
**This is their local delicacy! Fried snack with soup!! From wt i've observed,the locals standing in front of the stall having the snack together wif a bowl of soup,just dip it in2 the soup! Once u love it u can it up to 2o pcs!
**This lady is having Indian sytyle dumpling!
Serve 8 in a bowl and is same like chinese,thy too eat it wif chilli sauce,wt mks the diff is the filling which is a vegetarian dumpling!!
It serve it hot frm the pot and they do have it 2gether wif lemon soda which is their fav drink!!
**Cofffee oR Teeea??? This uncle seling hot beverages along the street!
Nope!! Soory!!
I wont choose to have any drinks frm here!!
**Here comes the shopping section!! U will realy find cheap Adidas! Top shop! H&M! Nike....
The clothes is realy cheap Rs 50 is about S$2+ for a t-shirt..
For a punjabi suit,you can gt at about Rs250 which is less than S$10..
**How about getting curtains frm here? It's realy colourfull and cheap in price! Is around S$5 per pcs!! Ofcz for a size of a room you need bout 4-5 pcs,bt isn't realy worth to buy??
**Slippers anyone??? Shoes?? Sandals?? Bags?? Made in India !!!
**Table cloth?carpet,pillow cases!! Ofcz i came here and bought their handmade pillow cases.
It's made of 100% cotton and worth to buy!
It seels in a bag of 5 and cost bout approximately S$8!!
Bought 2 pcks for mom and cousin!!
**The reason i snap tis pix is i found it realy interesting!If u notice it,this young man is actually selling toys on the floor! Have you ever come across this??Although there are so many diff kind of toys,if u look in2 it,there are oso flies all over it!! Aft i snap tios i quickly walk away as the man is starring at me!!
**BEWARE OF THE FLIES
This is the wet market! U can realy find cheap and good mangoes here! After spending so much in the bazaar,I only left a few hundred of Rs..
Therefore i only manage 2 buy 1kg of mango!
Its realy sweet,yellow-ish and it's only cost
Rs40/kg = S$2++/kg!!
U'll regret if u dunget it !!!
**Delhi is realy a crowded city!!A nice place thou!! But You will find it diff to live there if you cant adapt to their their cuture and lifestyle..Along the way bck to 2 the airport,i saw this busy street, saw a man carried a baby with one of the amputated,waving to us in the bus asking for donations! Kids all over the street,begging,wlking evrywhere without realy looking at the traffic lights.I find it quite sad!Wt if the poor baby die of
hunger??Wt if the poor man caught by the cop or wt if these little
kids knocked down by cars??
**Although it's realy heart sickening when i'm thinkin back at al this!! No laws and rules going on!! People just so poor to live!! Everywhere is like so messy!! But overall i was realy having fuNnn and realy enjoy my this trip 2 Delhi..I realy treasure the two of of my besties!!
